One Day
Moving to the United States is a bit of a culture shock for many; moving to Texas can be a whole different matter! There are many, many interesting things to know about your new home in Texas, and we’re here to help guide you and make sure that you come away with a good first impression.
While touring the city, our trainer or staff member will discuss some local history with you, including things that only a local resident would know. You’ll be an adopted Texan before you know it!
Program Description
| Program description | This service is for students who have recently arrived in Texas. |
| Level Required | Level 2 of the ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe) in English. If one spouse can interpret for the other, this will be acceptable. |
| What to expect | The area tours are conducted by one of the inlingua in Texas instructors or staff. In the course of the day, we will take you to many of the major points of cultural and historical interest, while explaining the locations of the main transportation routes, shopping locations, entertainment and cultural venues; Ample opportunities for students to practice English |
| Placement tests | Every student will need to take the inlingua Placement Test in order to determine the student’s level. This test can be taken at the inlingua office or on the Internet at http://www.inlingua-it.com/. If taking the test on the Internet, please make sure the results are sent to inlinguaAustin or inlinguaDallas. |
